Sham J. Persaud, DPM, is a graduate of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. He completed his residency in Foot and reconstructive ankle surgery at West Penn Hospital with Allegheny Health Network. He furthered his training as he completed fellowship training with The Orthopaedic Group out of Mon Valley Hospital in Belle Vernon, PA. Dr. Persaud serves as faculty of the West Penn Foot and Ankle Surgical Residency and UPMC Mercy Podiatric Surgical Residency, training foot and ankle surgeons. He is published and focuses on all aspects of foot and ankle surgery and trauma.
OSSIOfiber® Certified Surgeon
An OSSIOfiber® certified surgeon has performed a minimum number of procedures using OSSIOfiber® implants. Additionally, Certified surgeons must maintain their use of OSSIOfiber® implants on a monthly basis or be an OSSIOfiber® certified surgeon trainer.
