Meniscal Root Tears
A meniscal root tear happens when the meniscus detaches from its anchor point on the bone.
When this occurs, the meniscus can no longer distribute load properly across the joint. Instead, the force of your body weight transfers directly into the bone beneath the cartilage, causing stress fractures, SIFK, fluid buildup, and localized bone damage over time.
