Dr. Hatic is a fellowship-trained orthopedic foot and ankle surgeon who joined the team at Orthopedic Associates in the fall of 2011.
His practice encompasses general orthopedics but focuses on the management of complex injuries of the lower extremity including a broad spectrum of foot and ankle pathology. Dr. Hatic’s particular interests include sports medicine, fracture care, arthritis, Achilles and heel pain, adult flat foot, bunions/hammertoes and diabetic foot and ankle care. He has a special interest and advanced training in evolving techniques for cartilage restoration and total ankle replacement surgery.
Dr. Hatic currently serves as the Assistant Program Director for the Grandview Hospital Orthopedic Surgery Residency, has published articles in several peer-reviewed journals, co-authored book chapters, and lectures frequently, both at local and national meetings. He serves as the Medical Director for Wayne HealthSports which provides athletic training, physical therapy and rehabilitation, as well as orthopedic care to student athletes across Darke County, Ohio.
