Dr. Robert T. Hoover II, DPM, has been serving Central Florida patients for more than 30 years, carrying forward a family legacy in healthcare. He holds a B.S. in biology and a DPM from the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Hoover is board-certified in Foot and Ankle surgery and affiliates with AdventHealth hospitals in the Central Florida area.
His care in office extends outside clinic to help educate the next generation of excellent Foot & Ankle surgeons through participation in the AdventHealth Podiatry residency. Dr. Hoover has helped train dozens of residents and students, completing thousands of cases – teaching all levels of podiatric care – from basic clinic treatment to specialty surgical cases.
Dr. Hoover has now passed on his own legacy and passion for healthcare to his daughter Dr. Jaclyn Hoover, DPM. Together they care for patients in the Orange, Seminole, Lake, & Volusia county communities specializing in treating a variety of basic to complex Foot & Ankle conditions.
Beyond his work, Dr. Hoover is a husband of 30+ years – Father of 4 – Grandfather to 8 (in his words: “the more the marrier”) – He enjoys spending time with family, golf, fishing, and community volunteering.
