Dr. Gan Golshteyn, DPM, FACFAS, is a fellowship-trained Pediatric Foot and Ankle Surgeon, who is Board Certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Dr. Golshteyn specializes in Pediatric Foot and Ankle Orthopedics, which includes foot and lower extremity deformities, pediatric and adult trauma, and sports injuries.
As part of a new generation of foot and ankle specialists, he is trained in the latest arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgical procedures, including ankle arthroscopy for cartilaginous defects and bunion procedures in pediatrics and adults. Dr. Golshteyn has completed extensive specialized training in Pediatric Foot and Ankle deformities and complex injuries at the renowned Pediatric Orthopedic Center in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey, under the direct mentorship of fellowship-trained Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeons whom have been trained at Rady Children’s Hospital, Chop Hospital, Dupont Hospital, and Campbell’s Clinic.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from Nova Southeastern University, Dr. Golshteyn earned his doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his residency at Aventura Hospital and Medical Center, under the mentorship of a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Traumatologist.Although he practices a philosophy of conservative treatment for his patients, Dr. Golshteyn utilizes the latest technologies and procedures available to best suit his patients. He has performed hundreds of surgeries, including those of pediatric and adult foot and ankle trauma, bunions, hammertoes, complex foot, and ankle deformities, flatfoot, and sports medicine injuries. Understanding the importance of collaborative medicine and advanced pain management techniques, he strives to create a comfortable and excellent environment for you and your loved ones.
On a personal note, Dr. Golshteyn enjoys spending time with his wife, his mom, dad, and sister and enjoys working out.
