Dr. Eric Masternick is Board-Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). He attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree.
He participated in Varsity golf and tennis during high school and enjoys basketball and running.
After graduating from John Carroll University (Cleveland, Ohio) and Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine (Cleveland, Ohio), Dr. Masternick completed a three-year surgical residency at Northside Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio. He served as vice-president and president of the Eastern Academy of the Ohio Podiatric Medical Association for three years. He is currently on the active medical staff of Reston Hospital Center and INOVA Fair Oaks Hospital.

Dr. Masternick enjoys tennis, golf, basketball and running. He also spends some of his time authoring and creating publications, presentations, and lectures on specific podiatric subjects for the general public and other doctors.
OSSIOfiber® Certified Surgeon
An OSSIOfiber® certified surgeon has performed a minimum number of procedures using OSSIOfiber® implants. Additionally, Certified surgeons must maintain their use of OSSIOfiber® implants on a regular basis or be an OSSIOfiber® certified surgeon trainer.
