Alex Davis, MD, is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon who specializes in foot and ankle surgery at Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital.

Dr. Davis has trained at some of the nation’s premier medical institutions. He earned his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston where he served as chief resident in Orthopedic Surgery. He completed his fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgery at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.

He has undergone advanced training on the cutting edge of foot and ankle surgery including total ankle replacements, complex reconstruction of foot and ankle deformities, joint sparing procedures, minimally invasive techniques, and use of stem biologies i.e. stem cells to improve function for acute and chronic foot and ankle conditions.

Dr. Davis provides patients in The Woodlands, Conroe and surrounding communities with high-quality, cost-effective specialized orthopedic care in a wide range of surgical and nonsurgical modalities.  He is also available for second opinions.

OSSIOfiber® Certified Surgeon

An OSSIOfiber® certified surgeon has performed a minimum number of procedures using OSSIOfiber® implants. Additionally, Certified surgeons must maintain their use of OSSIOfiber® implants on a monthly basis or be an OSSIOfiber® certified surgeon trainer.
