Matthew Thomas, DPM

Dr. Thomas founded Pikes Peak Foot and Ankle Clinic to provide the Colorado Springs community with high quality, results-based treatment plans for all your foot and ankle concerns.

Dr. Thomas enjoys treating all aspects of the foot and ankle.  It is his philosophy that educating patients on their specific condition provides patients with a better outcome.  Dr. Thomas believes that if you understand the specific cause for your foot pain you are more likely to follow through with the recommended treatment plan.

With ten years of experience of treating patients in Colorado Springs, Dr. Thomas has discovered the foundation for successful treatment lies in establishing a relationship with each patient, and strives to fully understand your unique personal situations, concerns, and goals to provide the best customized treatment plan for you and your loved ones.

Dr. Thomas received his doctor of podiatric medicine degree from Midwestern University College of Podiatric Medicine & Surgery in Glendale, Arizona. Dr. Thomas is double board certified by The American Board of Podiatric Medicine and The American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in Foot Surgery, as well as Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery. His training is broad and encompasses all aspects of foot and ankle medicine and surgery including extensive training in foot and ankle trauma, reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle, as well as diabetic limb salvage.

In his free time Dr. Thomas enjoys hunting, pickleball, soccer, and dirt bike riding. He enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, and two daughters.
