Lance Silverman, MD
Lance Silverman, M.D., received his medical degree in 1996 from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, which ranks consistently among the top of our country’s 125 medical schools. After finishing a year-long surgical internship and a four-year residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI, he was awarded a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, which U.S. News & World Report has consistently recognized as one of the premier programs of its kind.
Dr. Silverman was trained to manage all foot and ankle conditions under the guidance of Stephen F. Conti, M.D., who is the director of the Orthopaedic Division of foot and ankle surgery at Allegheny General Hospital, associate professor at the Drexel University School of Medicine, and chairman of a highly competitive foot and ankle fellowship for nearly 20 years. He then founded Silverman Ankle & Foot – a practice exclusively devoted to foot and ankle conditions.
Dr. Silverman is a board-certified member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society.
