Dr. Kenneth R. Wilhelm received a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University (BYU). He earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from The Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio in 1994. Dr. Wilhelm completed a three-year surgical residency at Millcreek Community Hospital in Erie, Pennsylvania and was chief resident for two years. He spent two years volunteering for his church in Santiago, Chile and is fluent in Spanish.

Dr. Wilhelm is board-certified in foot surgery and reconstructive rear foot/ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS). Dr. Wilhelm is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He has held numerous positions with the Virginia Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Ken Wilhelm is a past President of the Virginia Podiatric Medical Association (VPMA).

After his training, Dr. Wilhelm joined Alexandria Podiatry Associates and then founded Clifton Foot and Ankle Center in 2011. He has practiced in Northern Virginia for over 23 years and is well-established in the medical community.
