Jaime Carbonell, DPM is a board-certified podiatrist and surgeon in practice for over 26 years. He is Co-Founder of Garnet & Carbonell, DPM, LLC and has been Director of the Podiatric Residency Program at Jackson South Hospital in Miami since 2001.
Dr. Carbonell began his postsecondary education at the University of Miami. He then attended medical school at Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores and graduated with a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 1996. In 1998, Dr. Carbonell completed 2 years of podiatric surgical residency training at Baptist Health Systems / South Miami Hospital.
There are many hospitals in the South Florida area to which Dr. Carbonell is affiliated, including: Homestead Hospital, Westchester General Hospital, Medical Arts Surgery Center (MASC) at South Miami Hospital, South Florida Surgery Center, South Miami Hospital, Baptist Hospital, Jackson South Hospital, and Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Carbonell is board certified in Foot Surgery with the National Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners, and also received certification in Basic Life Support (CPR & AED). He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, the American Podiatric Medical Association, and the Florida Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Carbonell speaks both English and Spanish.
