Dr. Lee Hlad, DPM, a compassionate podiatrist at Ankle & Foot Associates, LLC in Waycross, Georgia, obtained his bachelor of arts degree from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York, before earning his doctor of podiatric medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City. Following this, Dr. Hlad completed a three-year surgical residency and extensive training in reconstructive medicine at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio, a level one trauma center where he served as chief resident. He furthered his education with a one-year fellowship in pediatric and adult limb lengthening and reconstruction and deformity correction at The Rubin Institute for Advanced Orthopedics at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Hlad’s dedication to podiatric care extends beyond his practice; he actively participates in surgical medical missions, mentors fellow and resident courses, and speaks internationally on various podiatric topics. Outside of medicine, Dr. Hlad enjoys spending quality time with his family, exploring the outdoors, and pursuing his hobbies in woodworking and jeep adventures.

OSSIOfiber® Certified Surgeon

An OSSIOfiber® certified surgeon has performed a minimum number of procedures using OSSIOfiber® implants. Additionally, Certified surgeons must maintain their use of OSSIOfiber® implants on a monthly basis or be an OSSIOfiber® certified surgeon trainer.
