Peter Walimire, DPM

Dr. Peter Walimire is a native Ohioan (Go Bucks!) and attended the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, graduating in 2007. There he learned from some of the best educators at Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Clinic. He excelled as a student and was one of two individuals chosen for the highly competitive residency program at Florida Hospital East Orlando where he covered the foot and ankle trauma service at one of the busiest hospitals in the state. There he performed thousands of procedures and learned the most advanced foot and ankle surgical techniques. After graduating from his residency in 2010, he moved to southwest Florida and started in private practice. He has since earned board certification in foot surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, the Florida Podiatric Medical Association, the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the Lee County Podiatric Medical Society.
